BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - It was an all Union final in the men's singles tournament at the 2010 Bulldog Bash, and Nicolas Ernst pulled out a three-set victory to take the title.

Ernst (Rietheim, Germany) posted a 6-4, 3-6, 7-5 victory over teammate Yvon Haessig in the championship match. Ernst was the No. 2 seed in the tournament, while Haessig defeated top-seeded Badr Cherradi of Shorter (Ga.) 6-3, 6-3 in the quarterfinal round.

In the men's doubles, Ernst and Pierre Vernin (Le Coteau, France) were the top seeds but fell to No. 2 seed Philipp Hoffman and Tom Goosens of Lincoln Memorial (Tenn.) 4-6, 7-6 (7-4), 1-0 (10-8).

In the women's singles, Ximena Aguilar (Morelia, Mexico) advanced to the quarterfinals before losing to No. 2 seed Leah Donoff of Lincoln Memorial.

Top-seeded Trina Slapeka and Slavica Milanovic of Lindsey Wilson won the doubles competition with a 7-6 (8-6), 3-6, 1-0 (10-8) victory over No. 3 seed Donoff and Sophie Lopez of Lincoln Memorial.
