GEORGETOWN, Ky. - Union extended its win streak to six matches with back-to-back, 3-0 sweeps in the Georgetown (Ky.) College Tournament Friday.

The Lady Bulldogs first swept Cumberland (Tenn.) 25-12, 25-13, 27-25 before posting a 25-11, 25-13, 25-16 win over St. Catharine (Ky.).

Union is now 7-3 overall and will face No. 13 Embry-Riddle (Fla.) at 12 p.m. Saturday.

In the first match, Amelia Cantrell (Georgetown, Ky.) had 12 kills, while Karina Ramos (Presidente, Brazil) posted seven with Chelsea Kirschman (Ponte Vedra, Fla.) recording four blocks. Amanda Silva (Londrina, Brazil) chipped in 12 digs, Monica Moreland (Louisville, Ky.) had 12 assists, and Kalia Yasak (Kula, Hawaii) registered 20 assists.

Vitoria Oliveria (Sao Paulo, Brazil) posted a team-high 12 kills in the second match with Cantrell helping out with 11. Cat Neumann (Louisville, Ky.) had eight kills, while Silva notched 16 digs. Moreland and Yasak contributed 23 and 19 assists, respectively.
