CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. - Fourth-seeded Union College advanced to the semifinal round of the Appalachian Athletic Conference Women's Tennis Tournament with a 5-3 win over fifth-seeded Reinhardt (Ga.) Friday, but the season came to an end with a 5-0 loss to top-seeded Milligan.

Union finishes the season with a 3-13 overall record.

The tournament is being held in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Union 5, Reinhardt 3 (Opening Round)

The Lady Bulldogs won two of the three doubles matches with Ximena Aguilar (Morelia, Mexico) and Christina Prindle (Florence, Ky.) teaming up for an 8-3 decision and Kacee Bargo (Barbourville, Ky.) and Elizabeth Earick (Owensville, Ohio) combining for an 8-6 win.

In singles, Aurelie Hascoet (Tham, France) won 6-1, 6-1 over Kayla Spivey, while Prindle netted a 6-3, 6-1 victory versus Lindsay Taylor. Earick scored the match-clinching win with a 6-4, 6-2 decision.

Milligan 5, Union 0 (Semifinal Round)

Try as they might, the Lady Bulldogs could not register a point against the Lady Buffaloes as top-seeded Milligan recorded the 5-0 decision.

Milligan swept the three doubles matches by the scores of 8-2, 8-6 and 8-0. In the two singles matches that were completed, the Lady Buffaloes notched a pair of 6-0, 6-0 wins.
