BLUEFIELD, Va. - Union posted its second victory of the season, defeating host Bluefield (Va.) 6-3 in Appalachian Athletic Conference action Tuesday.

The Lady Bulldogs won despite having to forfeit two of the matches.

With the win, Union improves to 2-11 overall and 2-3 in conference play, while Bluefield falls to 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the AAC.

Aurelie Hascoet (Tham, France) and Ximena Aguilar (Morelia, Mexico) both won their singles matches 6-0, 6-0. Also, Hascoet teamed up with Mackenzie Prichard (London, Ky.) to win 8-2 in doubles, while Aguilar and Kacee Bargo (Barbourville, Ky.) joined forces to win 8-0.

Prichard won her singles match 6-4, 6-1, while Bargo rallied to win 3-6, 6-2, 6-1 in her singles match.

Union will close out the regular season Saturday at Milligan (Tenn.) at 2 p.m.
