BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Fresh off its first win of the season, Union College will go for win No. 2 this weekend as the Bulldogs will play host to Campbellsville (Ky.) University in a Mid-South Conference interdivision showdown.

The Bulldogs enter Saturday's clash with a 1-5 overall record and a 0-2 MSC East mark, while the Tigers come to Barbourville at 0-5 overall and 0-1 in the MSC West.

Campbellsville leads the series with a 12-8 record as Union has not posted a win in the series since 1995. The Bulldogs and Tigers played each other every season from 1988-2004, but the series was interrupted when the Mid-South Conference split into two divisions.

The last two meetings were hotly-contested battles. In 2003, both offenses struggled as they attempted to trudge through a rainy, muddy mess. Campbellsville had to use two overtimes to ultimately pull out the 9-3 decision. The 2004 showdown featured a lot more offense as Campbellsville had a little more in the tank in recording the 39-32 win.
