CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - A five-run, sixth-inning rally propels No. 16 Union to a 12-6 victory over host No. 8 Campbellsville (Ky.) Tuesday to extend its win streak to seven games.

The win improves Union to 13-6 overall with Campbellsville dropping to 9-9 on the year.

The Bulldogs return to action Wednesday at Cumberlands (Ky.). Game time is at 2 p.m.

Union had one of its best offensive outings of the season with 16 hits, one shy of its season high. Also, it is only the fifth time the Bulldogs scored 10 or more runs in a game.

The Bulldogs scored two in the first and lead 4-2 after four innings. However, Campbellsville tied the game with a pair of a runs in the fifth.

In the sixth, though, Union broke loose for five runs on four hits to take a 9-4 cushion. The rally was highlighted by back-to-back home runs from Brian Mouton (Oakland, Calif.) and Tyler Brake (Burlington, Ky.). Mouton's was a two-run shot. Ryan Satterlee (Youngstown, Ohio) also had a run-scoring double in the inning.

Both teams added two runs in the eighth while Union tacked on a run in the ninth to seal the 12-6 decision.

Mouton finished the game with four RBIs in going 2-for-4 with two runs scored, while Brake went 2-for-3 with three RBIs. Satterlee helped out with a 4-of-6 performance and scored three times and a RBI. Steve Schleek (Kansas City, Mo.) batted 3-for-4 with two runs scored, Demetrius Davis (Marietta, Ga.) had two hits and two RBIs.

Lucas Henson (Corbin, Ky.) improved to 2-0 on the year as he came in relief, tossing 3 1/3 innings and allowing two earned runs on three hits and one walk with two strikeouts.

Alex Ponich led the Tiger offense in going 3-for-5 with two RBIs. Zac Townsend added two RBIs.
