KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Three Lady Bulldogs earned a spot on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-East Region Team, the organization announced recently.

Juniors Ashley Hall (Hazard, Ky.) and Patricia Nardy (Sao Paulo, Brazil) and sophomore Marcela Salum (Guatemala City, Guatemala) made the 11-person squad.

The NSCAA East Region is made up of teams in the Appalachian Athletic Conference, the Sunrise Athletic Conference and the Sun Conference.

Hall tallied 15 goals, three assists and 33 points on the season. She also won the Appalachian Athletic Conference Golden Boot Award and was named to the All-AAC First Team.

Nardy posted a 14-1-1 overall record with a 0.878 goals-against average. She posted four shutouts and had 86 saves. A NAIA All-American Honorable Mention, Nardy made the All-AAC First Team and was the conference's Defensive Player of the Year.

Salum notched a team-high 17 goals to go along with seven assists and 41 points. She also made the NAIA All-American Third Team and the All-AAC First Team. Salum received the AAC Player and Offensive Player of the Year awards as well.

Union won the AAC regular-season and tournament championships to advance to the NAIA National Championship Tournament for the first time since 2003. The Lady Bulldogs went 16-3-1 overall and 7-0 in conference play.
