CINCINNATI, Ohio - Four Bulldogs scored in double figures, but it was not enough as Union College dropped a 92-88 decision to host Cincinnati Christian (Ohio) University Saturday.

Payton Ponzer (Independence, Ky.) led Union with 21 points with Darrel Jackson (Jonesboro, Ark.) chipping in 19 points. Anthony Coote (Georgetown, Ky.) added 14 points, while Beau Brown (Athens, Tenn.) delivered his fourth double-double on the year with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Union (5-7 overall) led 50-46 at the half, but Cincinnati Christian took advantage of 20 Bulldog turnovers and 19 offensive rebounds to mount the comeback and pull out the four-point win.

On the game, the Eagles outrebounded the Bulldogs 38-30.

Cincinnati Christian is 6-4 on the season.

Union returns to action Tuesday when it pays Alice Lloyd (Ky.) College a visit. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
