LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Union College recorded a 31st-place showing at the BTM Striking Knights Classic in Louisville, Ky., over the weekend.

The Bulldogs tallied a total pin fall of 7,052 as Morehead State (Ky.) University won the event with a total score of 8,423. In all, there were 39 teams competing.

Union rolled a five-game score of 4,238 on Saturday before racking up 2,641 tally during 16 Baker games Sunday.

Chad Ferguson (Louisville, Ky.) paced Union with a 191.6 average, and Jesse Beal (Dayton, Ohio) followed with a 184.0 average as he bowled a team-high and personal-season high of 234. Jordan Rummel (Athens, Tenn.) posted a 163.4 average, while Cody Proffitt (Pigeon Forge, Tenn.) and Rueben Shanks (Front Royal, Va.) averaged 166.5 and 155.5, respectively. Kevin Niehaus (Independence, Ky.) helped out with a 127.5 average.

The Bulldogs return to action Friday and Saturday at the National Team Match Games in Fairview Heights, Ill.
