BARBOURVILLE, Ky. – After a week in which the Union College women’s soccer team went 1-1 in Appalachian Athletic Conference play, the Lady Bulldogs dropped from No. 3 down to No. 4 in this week’s NAIA Region XII rankings the organization announced on Monday.

Union started the week with a 6-0 win at Bluefield (Va.) College before a 3-0 loss against No. 23 Covenant (Ga.) College on Saturday. The Lady Bulldogs currently stand at 4-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference.

King (Tenn.) College holds onto the top spot, followed by Covenant. Union is sandwiched between Tennessee Wesleyan College in third and Milligan (Tenn.) College in fifth.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action on Wednesday with a trip to conference foe Bryan (Tenn.) College for a 5 p.m. contest.
