KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Union College received a vote in the latest edition of the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 poll, announced Tuesday by the organization.

The poll was the sixth regular season edition and the Lady Bulldogs garnered one vote to move into a tie for 43rd along with nine other teams. Last week Union was No. 34 with 32 votes.

The Lady Bulldogs went 0-2 last week, with one goal losses at Spring Hill (Ala.) College and No. 19 Auburn (Ala.) University Montgomery. Union owns a 9-2 record entering Wednesday's Appalachian Athletic Conference match at Montreat (N.C.) College which is scheduled to start at 2 p.m.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College took the No. 1 spot thanks to 12 first-place votes, moving up a spot. Lee (Tenn.) University also moved up to No. 2 and received three first-place votes. Last week's No. 1 team, California Baptist University dropped to third. Azusa Pacific (Calif.) University and Concordia (Ore.) University remained fourth and fifth, respectively.

The next poll will be released Tuesday, Oct. 20.
