BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Union College will try to collect its first win of the season as it travels to Pikeville (Ky.) College for a Mid-South Conference East showdown Saturday at 6 p.m.

Union is 0-3 overall and 0-1 in the MSC East, while Pikeville is 1-2 overall and 0-0 in league play. Union is also looking to snap a nine-game losing streak.

Both Union and Pikeville are coming off lopsided losses. The Bulldogs dropped a 55-21 decision at Malone (Ohio) College, while the Bears suffered a 55-3 defeat to visiting University of St. Francis (Ind.).

The all-time series is tied at 3-3 with the home team winning all six contests. Union came out victorious in 2006, winning 39-17 on Sept. 30.

This week's game is Union's third night game of the year.
