BARBOURVILLE, Ky. - Bulldog fans, you can watch senior Johnnie Nabors NAIA 60-Meter Dash National Championship run and an interview with Nabors online.

Nabors (Lawrenceville, Ga.) narrowly won the national championship, posting a time of 6.80 seconds - a hundredth of a second better than better than Jamal Forbes of Dickinson State (N.D.) University.

The championship is the first individual champion for the Union track program. Nabors improved on his back-to-back third place finishes the last two seasons in the event.

Nabors is also the first NAIA individual national champion in Union College history since Bob Long won the one-meter diving championship at the 1965 NAIA Swimming & Diving National Championship Meet.
