Men's Cross Country - Sat, Sep. 8, 2007

DANVILLE, Ky. – The Union College men’s cross country team made a strong showing with three runners in the Top 18 at the Centre College Invitational in Danville, Ky. Saturday morning.

Leading the charge for Union was senior Brandon Kibert (Tazewell, Tenn.) ran to a tenth place finish with a time of 28 minutes and 40 seconds over the 8k course.

Daniel Kual (Stone Mountain, Ga.) was right behind Kibert in 12th place and Eric Kinman (Erlanger, Ky.) came in 18th. Kual crossed the finish line at the 29:15 mark while Kinman finished at the 31:30 mark. Brennan O’Quinn (Meadowview, Va.) just missed a top-20 finish as he ran 32:46 to finish in 24th.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) College won the meet with 27 points, just in front of host Centre and their 32 points in the four-team meet.

The next event for Union will be the Berea (Ky.) College Invitational next Saturday morning.
